Today, I’m taking you to a special place: the House of Lights (Casa delle Luci in italian). ✨🎄

Imagine a cozy, Christmas-decorated house in front of you. Twinkling lights are everywhere, creating a magical atmosphere. ✨

My family and I were welcomed by a row of reindeer and a lit-up sleigh, followed by a pathway reminiscent of the North Pole, with its cool silver and blue tones, leading directly to Santa’s house 🎅, passing by the little cottage of the Gingerbread Man.

“Before fully exploring this enchanted place, a warm recharge is needed! ☕ Just like in any respectable Christmas village, there’s the opportunity to enjoy spiced hot drinks at a kiosk, typical of the Nordic festive period, to sip by a crackling fire. 🔥

“Continuing the visit, I came across unique decorations such as tires transformed into giant Christmas ornaments 🎄 and road signs pointing to Santa Claus.

Passing under a large tree made of iron, illuminated with the color of snow ❄️, I found myself in front of a small photo spot. 📸 It was there that I met Ciri, a new and affectionate furry friend 🐱 – an orange cat just like me – who turned out to be very friendly and welcoming. Along with his human friends Luca and Marta, he accompanied us into the house.

“Every corner of the house is decorated with garlands, stars, and small details that evoke the joy and cheer of the festive season. 🎊 The living room is warm and cozy, thanks to the soft lighting and a beautifully decorated tree with shiny ribbons, ornaments, and interesting light effects. 🎄 Even the area around the couch is carefully adorned, and there’s a TV simulating a fireplace, whose light illuminates the infinite facets of the glitter in the glass spheres on the shelf. ✨ The couch has many red and gold cushions and is really comfortable to curl up on… the cozy atmosphere and the sweet music from the carillons on the table relaxed me so much that I almost fell asleep. 💤 Ciri came to call me, “we have to visit the kitchen!”.

We hurried into the room – the paradise for the stomach 😋 – where a lovely tray of cookies 🍪 awaited us, along with plenty of decorations. A triumph of red ribbons🎀 and colorful lanterns. Even the dining table and the stove were all decked out for the holidays, and this time, I couldn’t even jump on the countertops. 😺

“You can’t truly feel the Christmas spirit without the gifts’ exchange! 🎁 So, after some chatting and cuddles, I received a very special little gift: a pine-shaped catnip-flavored cookie. 🌲 Want to see it? Impossible, I gobbled it up in one bite! 🍽 My family, on the other hand, received this unique fir tree-shaped glass.

We then went out into the garden once more for a final walk, and after a warm goodbye and best wishes, we returned home. 🏡

It was such a lovely evening, I couldn’t wait to tell Simba all about it, who unfortunately didn’t feel like coming. The result? He got so immersed in the story that, daydreaming, he fell asleep. 😸
